IACT covers the five provinces of Northern Mindanao (Region X): Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Camiguin, and Lanao del Norte, including key cities such as Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Ozamiz, and Malaybalay.

What investment incentives are available in Northern Mindanao?
Investors in priority sectors may qualify for incentives under the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act and the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Act, including:
- Income Tax Holiday (ITH) of 4 to 7 years
- Special Corporate Income Tax (SCIT) of 5% on gross income
- Enhanced Deductions (ED) on qualified expenses
- Duty-free importation of capital equipment
- VAT exemptions on local purchases
What is the CREATE Act and how does it benefit investors?
The CREATE Act (RA 11534) reduced the corporate income tax rate from 30% to 20–25% and restructured incentives through the Fiscal Incentives Review Board (FIRB). Registered enterprises in IPAs (Investment Promotion Agencies) can avail of the ITH + SCIT or ITH + Enhanced Deductions package depending on their activity and location tier.
